From WAS Clarifications on Air Mission Phase...
" Aircraft that are placed on the land airbase as their air mission are treated the same as Aircraft that return to the land airbase during the Air Return phase: they receive Rearming counters during the Air Return phase and won't be available for air missions in the coming turn. "
-There has been some debate in my games about this. I read the rule to state that if I don't have an aircraft carrier, I can only use aircraft every other turn (Catalina excepted). Either I use them every turn or loose them until they are all re armed. There is no way to "save" a plane on my base for the next turn, by default, if it's on my land base, it's getting a rearming counter.
People I'm playing with are arguing that they place thier planes on the base and purposfully don't use some of them so that they can have planes ready to fly every turn.
Am I interpreting this correctly?
