I've posted one of these for my British army and was pleased with the positive comments and useful advice so i'll start one of these for each of my armies.
Heres my 100 pts German army:

Wehrmacht Veteran Infantrymen 5 (x1)
Panzerfaust 30 5 (x1)
SS-Panzergrenadier 5 (x2)
Sd Kfz 250 8 (x1)
MG 42 Machine-Gun Team 10 (x1)
Mauser Kar 98k 3 (x1)
Wehrmacht Oberleutnant 13 (x1)
PzKpfw 38(t) 10 (x1)
Sturmpanzer IV "Brummbar" 22 (x1)
Panzer III Ausf.F 13 (x1)

11 pieces

Any advice or suggestions?

1. Sub the Panzer III and the Panzer 38t for a Hetzer.
2. Sub the Oberleutnant for a SS Haupsturmfurer.
3. Sub the Panzerfaust for a Panzershrek.
4. Sub the Mauser Kar for a Sniper.

100 points.

Good idea captain.

Thanks, i'll think about that. Its just that I like the Oberleutnant's Aggriff or whatever its called. What about trading in the 38(t) and the panzerfaust for a Sig 33, its only problem is its 2/2 armour.

You already have the Sturmpanzer, yo don't need the sig. I say, change the 38(t) and the Panzer 3 for a hetzer and a mauser.

Is this for a tourny build or for fun. I say listen to horacus and get a hetzer in there to add some AT punch. Just be careful with it.

Yeah, I have a hetzer so i'll switch that up, thanks.

The Weirmacht OberLuitenant should only be used when you can actually benefit from its ability. Right now your build is TOO Light on infantry trpes that can be Angriffed. Also if you play the WOLt you must play a hero. The spawn-move-angriff tricks that can be pulled off are impressive. Drop the WOLt, add the hero and SS HF: out 13pts, in 15pts (+2)

Since you are dropping the WOLt you should upgrade the Faust to a Shreck as previously mentioned. I don't worry too much about my infantry killing Vehicles but it nice to have the tool available. I'd drop it altogehter (saving 5pts)

When building a German Amry and you have no other European Axis countries, consider using the Turan (Hungary) instead of the 38(t) tank. It costs 1 more point but is worth it. Another (+1) point additional

The SD KFZ-250 is a great tool to use when building a Germany Panzergrenadier corp but is not well suited in this build. Go ahead and dropit and add in another WVetInf. Saving -3

Net so far: Out with 1 vechile, OUT the faust, swap the commander, upgrade 1 vehicle, add a hero, add a WVI. And you have 5 more points to spend.

I agree with most of Colonel Coo's excellent suggestions.
I almost always play a WESniper when I play Germany.

The Grizzled Veteran is the best hero in the game. You might as well benefit from it.

Light tanks are good if you use them in a swarm or as a flanker when you use a big tank (Panther Tiger, etc.). Just two of them are not that useful. I would drop both of them and go for an all-infantry army (keep the Brummbar though). You would then have to add Panzerfausts or Panzerschreck. Remember that the lower priced Panzerfaust is better at medium range (+1) and the Panzeschreck is way more deadly at short range (and Close Assault).

I appreciate the all Infantry suggestion but I really like the Hetzer, it makes my army just a little bit more versitile. I also like the Panzer III for some reason, guess its cause the Panzer IV G is overpriced.

I love to see that there is players that use their mind instead of the usual 10x SSPG builds. One idea that i use that is a bit risky but normaly worth it is going for 2 Brummbar and no other vehicles. Should give you 9 pts to spend.
I would go for a hero, or 3 Mauser (possibly a luftwaffe).

Yes i know this is not an uber army :) But it should be fun to play.

1. If you meet a inf only army you should have a piece of cake :)
2. If you meet a pz heavy army you should win by points. (the no cover abaility by the brummbar saves the day)
3. If you meet a Air heavy army you are inn for some problems. Stay in cover as best you can and keep sacrificing units to destroy his ground force.
