lets say you win by the opponent not getting to the objective by turn 7. Is the game ended immediately or does the winner kill off the opponents pieces till the rest retreat.

Immediately. That's the whole point of it being an "objective."

Only if it remains contested in another turn played. If there is only one player in control on turn eight, end then. Same for nine and ten. If after ten turns there is still no sole control of the objective, then the points counted.

i think it would be interesting if loser due to objective had to retreat all of his units before it was over and loser cant fire. so if you lose due to objective you lose more units
