Had a rules question

I was showing someone the game last night and a question came up over one of the special abilities called Sub Hunter. Now yes I know what it says but the people I was showing the game too disagreed with it, I wound up not using the ability but I'd like some help knowing what it allows you to do.

I haven't used this ability yet myself ( still a 'newbie') either but it seems you are getting a free move, but making it more vunerable to torpedo attack, since you can only attack the sub when it is in the same sector. Any more experienced players help?

It simplies allows you to move from an adjacent square from the target sub to the same square.

It basically allows for you to lose initiative (and therefor have to move first) and still be able to use your ASW attacks against the sub.

Since a sub can only move 1, you will always be adjacent to it even if the sub moves after you. So at the end of movement you get to place the DD back on top of the sub so you can use ASW dice against it.
