For those of you who already bought the game, can you post the names and addresses (if possible phone-numbers too) of the game stores where you got it?
Thanks in advance.

In conclusion: Boardgame.com is a reliable source to get your favorite AH/Hasbro games! :D

Just a reminder... I'm glad that we can help one another locate this game, but currently the boards do not allow the posting of commercial links (links going directly to sites that sell the games). Links going to non-commercial sites (sites only discussing games) are fine.

(Sorry John)....oh yeah- you guys wanna hear something funny? My "Hobby Store" just called me today telling me that my copy of D-Day is waiting for me at the store! It has only been a week since I've been playing it already! (I orderd it online and received it in 2 days!)-lol :D How funny is that!?!?!

Just a note in defense of your local store... most of them aren't big enough to order full-case quantities of games from AH (or anybody else, for that matter). After all, they have only the shoppers within their trading radius to sell to, and there's plenty of competition, particularly from on-line sources. They instead buy through distributors, who are willing to send them one game at a time. Some of these ship to the retailers only once a week (or less) so that they can combine items to save shipping costs. What you're comparing is an on-line dealer who gets product direct from AH, probably on the official release date, with a guy who has to wait for the shipment to hit his distributor and then wait for the distributor to ship it to him. He's probably doing his best to get it to you in a timely manner - he just has a few more hurdles to overcome. I still have a soft spot for these guys because the one I dealt with when I first started gaming bent over backwards to tell us about what was new and tried to track down stuff that wasn't still in print (and of course there was no on-line ordering system when I was young... heck, the telephone had only been invented a few years earlier smile.gif )
