Type 95 Ha-Go (x2)
Type 97 Te-Ke Tankette (x4)
Mitsubishi A6M Zero (x2)

Fighting on the "Tiger Heaven" map, the Japanese concluded that using a blitz attack was preferable to attempting to destroy the defending American forces piecemeal. Hoping to neutralize the US antitank guns, the Zeros were sent out in turn one. Hunkered down in their bunkers, the M5s proved difficult to destroy. In the end, one was taken out and the second was disrupted, but ground fire proved devastating to the lightly-armored Zekes and both were shot down, an inauspicious start to the battle for the Imperial army.
Simultaneously with the airstrike, SNLF paratroopers were dropped on the objective and behind the American line, while the remaining Japanese infantry began a dangerous trek across open ground to relieve the SNLF forces holding the objective. The Japanese armor then charged across the battlefield in two columns, hoping to endure the withering defensive fire of the American army and achieve a breakthrough to attack the US supply lines.
The American counterattack destroyed one Ha-Go and severely damaged the second. As well, the American mortars wiped out one of the Japanese macine-gun teams. In the end, however, the speedy Japanese tanks were able to break through the brave but untested American defenders to meet up with the paratroopers and achieve victory.
The Japanese force lost two Zeros, one Ha-Go and a machine-gun. The American force was completely destroyed.
One question: The special quick victory condition outlined in the "Blitz" rules require the attacker to exit 1/4 of his force off the defenders side of the map. It is not clear, however, if all these units must exit in the same turn. Does anyone have clarification on this?
