In the rules it has under the order of events touch flags. This seems to say you can touch during any "phase for lack of better word" (by phase I mean one of the 5 divisions of the turn when each order card is resolved). Also it says that starting next turn you may move on to next flag. Does this mean scrap the rest of your order cards because you cant move anymore? Can you still rotate?
In the order it has resolve orders board elements move… then touchflags/repair sites
Does this mean you can get healed 5 times in a turn if you just rotate? Can you get 5 option cards in a turn?

At the end of each PHASE, you touch flags/repair sites if able. All touching a repair site in the middle of a turn does is update your archive point. Touching a flag will also update your archive, and get you that much closer to the finish line. At the end of each TURN (after phase five is done), if your on a repair site, you may repair/get option cards.

If you touch a flag in the middle of a turn, continue with the program you set up for the remaining phases. It's perfectly legal to set up your program to allow for touching a flag in the middle of a turn, and then head on to the next one with the remaining program cards.

Hope that helps. :)

Wow! I've always played that you have to be sitting on the flag at then end of the turn to get credit for the flag. I can't believe I've messed this up so much.

Yours makes for a much more brutal game.

Sounds like fun! :D

Brutal, yes. Fun, yes. But it also makes for run-away-leaderism. So we'll have to see. I'm pretty sure that the right way will be better.

Boylermaker: Oh wow, that sounds rough! Might be worth trying out, though.
