Gods from all the cultures looked different. I was expecting for example Thor with his hammer. :/

Perhaps for the Risk Godstorm "Gold Edition"?

The AH games cost enough as is without more money going into the unique gods. Love the games, they just lighten the wallet a bit ;).

I too am dissappointed with no unique designs for the different gods. Games like Axis and Allies, Age of Mythology and others have tons of different designs, and we can't even have some unique god pieces? I think it would add a lot to the game, why bother naming them when they all look the same. Come on.

seriously it defeats the purpose the rolling a die for teams. we usually just pick a color. i for one would love to have me some gilgamesh.

From a flavor standpoint it's a bummer the gods aren't individualized, but from a cost and a gameplay standpoint, it does. I hardly want new players asking "wait, which one was he again?" every five minutes. (Plus, there's the fact that some gods, like thor, would be easy to make, but others would be quite difficult to do well.)

I guess for me it's just one of those "the coolness factor doesn't outweigh the impracticality" thing.
