Possibly a very dumb question but as the US controls China and Chinese territory, can the US build an factory in Sikang and hence produce units there for the duration?
This tends to balance the game greatly as Japan has great difficulity holding the Malaya corner of the pacific with this option.

not sure about that, but i have a question of my own- if US and Chinese forces attack an area on the same turn and win, and there are surviving units from both sides, can the US player choose who to give the territory to (us or chinese)?
And also, how do you choose if India or Austrailia gain a captured territory on a turn?

No, the US cannot build factories in Chinese territories. It may only build in territories that it originally owned or that were captured from the Japanese (excluding Manchuria, Shantung and Korea, which revert to Chinese control).

If the territory is being "liberated", it reverts to its original owner (see above post). Otherwise, if there are still US and Chinese ground forces remaining at the end of the battle, you may give control to either power. If only one power has ground forces remaining, that power gets control. (Page 22)

If Britain captures (not liberates) a territory, it always goes to India. Australia can never have more income than it starts the game with. (also page 22)
