Is fortress america good?

I hear good things and I would like to know if this game is reccomended. I wasn't exactly born yet when it was released so I never heard about it. I looked on e-bay and found some nice games, but I want to know if it's good and how much i should be willing to spend on a game in good condition.

i like the game...it has some interest twists in gameplay, and has some nice game card play as well...good detail in units and a good sized game board...
