Version 1.0 Trade Ins

On another thread that got locked someone had an idea that purchasers of version 1.0 should be able to trade in their minis for version 2.0.

Well WOTC probably won't do that until pigs fly and why should we even expect them to?

However, there is already a traders forum in place on these boards and I would think that we should be able to use it to make the trades among ourselves.

Hopefully, this can be helpful to some of the folks who are upset about the scale change.

It comes down to supply and demand. Wotc has effectively said they are killing the line on vehicle Minis so who is going to trade anywhere close to even for vehicle Maxis.

I'm sure there may be people who will eventually see a logic in buying Maxis and trading vehicles to Maxi payers. But in the end... if all of us Mini players have 8 Shermans and 7 Stuarts... who the hell wants more?

I don't think there will be enough 2.0 players who would even want to trade for 1.0 vehicles.

I did notice my LGS is now selling AAM minis 1.0 at 14.99 again. Makes me wonder why the price increased.

I may be collecting V1.0 indefinitely. I still want a couple more of this and that, like shermans, Pershings, and what-not.

Funny, I may even trade for FoW vehicles, depending on what I need. That's one thing more 15mm has done...widened my choices.

As I have said right along, I'll play both, therefore I will collect both as both permit.
