Can anyone provide me with a high res photo of the Pacific board.
I located a decent photo of the Europe board and blew it up to a 52'x34', and it looks great.
Any help would be appriciated.

Okay dude... you got mail.
The image I sent was created by myself. Started off with 9 scans and combined them into a whopping 508MB Photoshop file. Pretty mean trick working on that too considering my Mac only sports 256MB RAM! Spent at least 80 hrs. working on it start to finish... (okay, so I'm a perfectionist).
Flattened down and jpeg'd was rather surprised it actually came in at a reasonable (mailable) size. Anyway, consider it a nice welcome to the AH message boards... a pretty tall order for a first post. I must be a nice guy or sumthin'. ~ZP

I've done computer design work for over 10 years. Nice to do something like that for the fun of it every once in a while.
Glad you liked the AAP pic, but I'm sending it to you again because I realized that I did something kinda dumb.
I really should have resized the image in Photoshop to your intended 53x34 print size before creating a .jpg out of it, otherwise you will get all that blocky .jpg crap when you go to enlarge it to your final print size. Sort of a waste of starting with a 360dpi scan ya know (what was I thinking?) So that's just what I did. The difference in quality will be sooo worth it. The size actually worked out to 50.5"x34" - using the nearest whole dimension of your expected print size.
Enjoy! ~ZP

Hi Zero Pilot
This is my first post and I was wondering if I could get the High Res Pacific Map too? I have a European one for A&A Europe and I really want to get one for this map. Could you please send it to me? Thank you so much!!!!!!
Please send to Jonny5tyle@yahoo.com
If that does not work, I don't know why it wouldn't, let me know.
Thanks again and the time you spent on making it was well worth it I bet.

How do you suggest that I get a hold of him? If not recon28501 do you have the High Res Pacific map available? Also if anyone has this map available I would like to have it.
Looking for a little direction here...

Contact the one and only Saburo Sakai who is the preeminent strategist of this game. You'll find him over at Axis and Allies.org or Warclub. I'll bet he has something for you.

Wow dude... you should have sent me a pm so I knew you had a request in this thread. I don't get to the AH site quite as often these days, but still often enough that I would have caught your pm in a couple weeks (as opposed to the 7 months it took to revisit this thread!) ~ZP
