Just started playing the game. Enjoy it very much. I'm building forces to do the North Africa scenarios first. I found the maps lacking in this regard, so I made some modifications. Also looking into designing some Tobruk scenarios based off of the 9th Austrailian's defence in June 1941.
Feel free to download and use the maps I made at:

Thank you as well for the great maps.
I would like to make some maps of my own. In particular jungle maps for Japanese battles. Can you please get me started in the right direction as to how I would go about making maps.

Thanks for checking out these maps. The North Africa Scenario-1 map was made from the original PDF which you can download on the A&AM Scenarios section.
I basically used Adobe Photoshop with the following tools or image adjustments:
Cloning Tool: to cover roads, swamps, hills or towns with samples of open ground or hills in adjacent hexes.
"Ctrl-U" to adjust the Hue and Saturation of the whole map which allowed me to give it more of a yellow / tan desert color.
The Tobruk Strongpoint map took a little more work ... but used the same tools.
The next step is to share the Tobruk Strongpoint scenario in the scenario section of this forum. My brother and I played it this past weekend it it turned out pretty good.
Thanks,
Brian
