I ordered two cases of boosters, one case was missing a booster. Here's the rares:

HMAS Canberra 2
Richelieu 1
Ark Royal 2
Exeter 2
Hood 2
Rodney 0
Baltimore 0
Enterprise 0
Iowa 1
Princeton 2
Salt Lake City 1
Tennessee 0
Washington 0
Graf Spee 1
Bismark 0
Scharnhorst 0
Bolzano 1
Vittorio Veneto 1
Akagi 2
Kongo 0
Myoko 2
Shokaku 1
Tone 2
Yamato 0

I am fairly disapointed with the whole thing. I came up blank on eight rares, many of the missing are the most expensive singles in the game.

I had the same experience when I ordered my cases. The first set of three cases I ordered were almost identical with Allied rares. I called those my allies cases. I then ordered two more cases and those were also almost identical but this time heavy with Axis. For set II I will order each case seperately.

Try contacting Hasbro customer support to see if they'll replace your missing booster. web site is http://hasbro.com/default.cfm?page=cs_contact

I bought a case some time ago (the only case I have ever bought actually - everything else I bought were either starters or singles), although the store owner had been required to open it to sell boosters individually (he said that Wizards required him to do this, and that he wasn't allowed to break open any to get singles for sale either). Anyway, someone else got two of those boosters before I did, but I got the other ten - here are the rares I pulled:

Canberra - 0
Richelieu - 1
Ark Royal - 1
Rodney - 0
Hood - 1
Exeter - 1
Enterprise - 0
Princeton - 0
Iowa - 1
Washington - 1
Tennessee - 0
Baltimore - 1
Salt Lake City - 0
Graf Spee - 1
Bismarck - 1
Scharnhorst - 0
Vittorio Veneto - 1
Bolzano - 0
Akagi - 0
Shokaku -0
Yamato - 0
Kongo - 0
Tone - 0
Myoko - 0

On one hand, I was lucky not to get stuck with another Bolzano or Canberra; plus, 6/10 rares were BB's, and my US rares were pretty decent. Also, although the Hood may seem like a bad pull to some, I actually didn't have one at the time, so that worked out alright for me.

However, on the other hand, I didn't get a single Japanese rare out of any of my ten, and I had really been hoping to get a Yamato, Shokaku, at least one Myoko, or a second Kongo when I bought the boosters.:( Plus, of course, I didn't get an Enterprise. Also, I was stuck with my third Ark Royal. Still, it looks like even this bad a pull wasn't as bad as some others I have seen on this forum.

Yes I did. As a matter of fact I think I got an Iowa in each case. The point I was trying to make is that if you purchase more than one case, order them at different times. That way you have a better chance of getting a decent mix of units. Blued. got 6 rare repeats. And all of them were not that desireable. I ubderstand his frustration.

The best axis case I ever got had 7 rares, 5 of which were Japanese. Anyone else remember when you got consecutive cases you'd only get 0-2 duplicate rares? Ahhh those were the days...

dude, thats not a bad pull. You got 2 fricking tones. you could have a decent japanese carrier fleet and have some other axis battleships (graf spee is a good one). if you got lots of planes, i would say go for it.

Not so bad, you could of pulled 4 hoods and 3 ark royals.

In a game where carrier fleets get slapped around by battle wagons I doubt it. Not being able to stack SAs does not help out carriers as well.

My first case was great

Bismarck
Enterprise
Yamato
Iowa
Kongo
Ark Royal
Rodney
Scharnhorst
Graf Spee
Tennesee
Akagai

@ Sink the Bismarck - Doesn't look too bad to me, although you didn't get either an Iowa or Yamato. I pulled a few rares in my incomplete case that weren't in yours and that I was happy to get, but overally, I'd say yours is the best one posted in this thread.

BTW - Does anyone want to provide a general rating for my 10 booster pulls? It is on the first page of the thread.

There is some nice stuff in there, especially the RN ships and a reasonable selection of USN. You share my curse of not being lucky with getting IJN ships.
I'd rate it somewhere from B- to B.:)

Rate this pull (one booster pack, not case):
Enterprise
Atlanta
Dauntless
Devastator
Wildcat

 Yes, that really happened!!!

@ aquarius - A++:D I think that's the booster that most people dream of getting. Well, maybe not for the Devastator, since those seem to be a little easier to get and less useful than most other A/C, but the other four are sold pulls IMO.

It's pretty rare to get an all-nation booster as well. I came close with one of mine; it contained the Graf Spee, Koln, a Stuka, and a Karl Galster. The only non-German unit was either a Devastator or Dauntless (I don't remember which right now).

Well, I do wish I had gotten another Dauntless instead of the Devastator, but I am pretty sure they don't duplicate stuff in the same booster.

Yes, but I already had 2 Iowas and a Yamato. I don't want more, as the Musashi will probably be in the next set.

Yes, that's true - I was attempting to judge your rares objectively rather than as part of your overall set, but your collection of pre-existing units is really a factor which should be taken into consideration. If you already had two Iowa's and one Yamato, then you probably wouldn't need more - the IJN Musashi and USS Missouri are two that I would bet on in future sets, and I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually saw the USS New Jersey as well (probably not the USS Wisconsin though, so you would be safe with your initial two IMO). The only use that those extra ships would be if those sisters materialized would be as the hypothetical cancelled or converted sisters of the Yamato and Iowa classes (Shinano, Hull # 111, USS Illinois, USS Kentucky), or more realistically, as relatively highly sought after trades.

This notion was applicable to my own pulls as well; my Ark Royal was a disappointment because I already had two (I didn't need those two, and certainly not three), and my Hood was not because I didn't have one already (most people would not be pleased with an extra Hood, for obvious reasons). It's all relative, I guess.;)
