Here's the final scale preview. It sounds like some people are already cracking open some booster packs. Those that haven't should be able to start purchasing the new set by the end of this week. =)

Now THATS a visible difference.

Meh... makes no difference to me. The scale change will just round out the odd vehicle sizes we already have now that the "mega" slot has been filled.

At least the new cromwell has a decent green color - actually I like the look of it...

They kinda "forgot" to "ink" the turret, but since there'S a nice little decal, i'll forgive them... :)

Inking is easy, I have a paint that does it for me.

I'm actually impressed by the Stalwart Lt pictured here!
I see at least 4 different colors:
GREY pants and binoculars;
BROWN boots;
SKIN color;
YELLOW/BEIGE coat and helmet.

I'll also say this of the old Cromwell... it appears to be suffering from ED...

Yawn. Sorry, but i dont see enough improvement if any, justifying the scalechange. Not in this preview nor the others.

The flaw "Version 1" had, was a couple bad scaled figures. Like the japanese armoured car and couple others.

The new Cromwell looks quite good indeed.

Its such a cute baby Cromwell...*scratches underside of turret* Who's a cute baby Cromwell? Your a cute baby Cromwell! You can tell the adult of the Cromwells also by the "mature" green coloring and the younger ones have the yellow coloring still.

All kidding aside, that is a heck of a differance in size.

Nice improvement, still some room to improve in future expansions.

The consistency of the color/ink on the turret vs. the chasis is still an issue with this brand. Its my hope they will work on this in future sets and correct it.

Still, its a noticeable improvement, and it belongs to a set where I get my rares for less coin.

The flaw "Version 1" had, was a couple bad scaled figures.

Unless you wanted your soldiers to be in scale with your vehicles. In that case, everything was poorly-scaled.

The turret can use a little weathering/inking, but otherwise, it looks decent. The bolts on the turret no longer look like firearm bulges.

Once again the turret looks a different shade. First the Carro Armato, now the Cromwell. Could it be a conspiracy? Na Just a quality control issue. Or getting ready for V3.0 in a couple of years.

I like the looks of the new Cromwell. A soldier can take confidence in standing beside such a behemoth. Now all I gotto do is find some growth elixer for my old Cromwells.

I have been away from the boards and the game for about 9 months now and just decided to check things out. I had heard that '39-'45 was coming out but I had no idea about the new scale. Is that for vehicles only so they are more in scale with inf? Great idea but I wish they thought about that before I sank my $ in sets 1-5:mad: . Was there anything official from wotc regarding the new scale?

Well I think there have been a lot of complaints about the scale change and this thread is definately official.
