Regarding the European Campaign - Pt. V: The Impregnable Driant Fortress Scenario EU-5 by Patrick Graham http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/aam/ah20071102 I have two questions.
Under Special Rules it states:
1.Royal Engineers have the SA: ‘AVRE’ for the duration of this scenario. “This unit ignores Obstacles. This unit destroys each Obstacle it crosses. This unit destroys each Obstacle in hexes it enters”. We assumed it did not include the blast and bombardment.
4. During the Axis turn of the Assault Phase, instead of attacking or moving a Disciplined Spotter unit may signal for fire-support against any hex in LOS. All units in the hex suffer an attack with a factor of eight (8) with the following modifying SAs: ‘Inaccurate’ and ‘Shrapnel. Regarding the LOS, we assumed that the 4 hex range was negated and the Disciplined Spotter’s range was limitless as long as there were no terrain hexes obstructing its view.
Were we correct in our assumptions?
