Any more formations upcoming?

I'd like to still see a Volksturm formation of some sort for example...

I also noticed that the Italians get an MG. But why isn't there a US and/or a Russian platoon featuring an MG? Might we still see one in the future?

There is actually a very good reason there is no American or Russian platoon with an MG... the United States and the Soviet Union do not yet have machine guns in this game! Should we GET an American or Soviet MG, it will likely have a Formation to go with it.

I know. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. What I meant is, while we have no Italian MG yet, it has already been included in a platoon ( so we know it's coming and also because of course it makes sense thatan MG team should form part of an infantry formation....). I was hoping they would've put American and Russian MG's in a platoon already as well ( so we'd know that at least they're coming and because it makes sense!). Then again if they're correctly priced ( which I sincerely hope....) you could always just add them as separate units.....

Hopefully, WotC will release a handful of new formations between now and the end of the holiday season. Just to give us another teaser of what we will be seeing in the spring.

A complete box of platoon cards would be nice. A product that is not random and would contain every possible platoon that could be used for A&A Minis/Maxis. I'm sure that's not going to happen either.

Would someone be allowed to photoshop and post their own up here? How about arranging platoons by nation so you only need the one page per nationality instead of flipping all over?

I was thinking of making some up and printing them on cardstock, they won't be as "Nice" as some of the unit cards (White print on colored background is er, complex, even with color copiers); But they would be servicable and readable.

Right now I'm looking for someone to teach me how to use graphics freeware in an hour or less...

Yes, some of the formations are a bit er, odd; Designed more to use up figures than anyone else, the German Veteran Infantry with a Light Mortar? Gee, by the time the Wermacht Oblt. is available, they would have discarded that in favor of something useful like oh, from 1944, a Panzerfaust?

But then, where is the Wehrmacht Feldwebel/Non-Panzerfaust carrying Lieutenant.

Where is there a reference to an Italian MG?

For the US or Russians, just use the Vickers, "Tovarich Serzhent, is look a Lot Like Maksim Gun, Da" Or a browning 30 Cal too, the stats should be the same. Not everything needs a unique SA, A MG is ......
