View Full Version : The Maelstrom Marker

Hey everyone,

I just bought Godstorm, today! I do not want to say something is missing, but what is the Maelstrom marker? Can someone help me? I really don't know, and at the shop I bought it at, they don't know it either :(.

Is it the round thingy that is placed inside the Epoch marker when you first open it? Or is it the strange small, thin, white piece?

Please help me out :) Thanks!

It's the thin squiggly whitish-bluish piece. It's about 3-4 inches long (I'm working from memory here) and about 1/4 of an inch wide.

If you can't find it, you probably threw it away with the packaging. In this case, I would just lay a faith token down on the water pathway if that card is ever played. Doesn't take too much away from the game, really.

Hmm, I think I have such a thing. It was on the same board as the sunken atlantis, the epoch marker and the quick reference guide, somewhere in the middle.. A small piece, same color as the board it was in. Is that the one?

Yep - that sounds like it.

The marker's so long and hardly noticeable, though, that I think the center of the Epoch Marker is a fine replacement. It's obvious and not too big (the maelstrom marker looks silly on the smaller sea lanes). That, and it looks like a maelstrom, all circular and dark and scary.

That is the exact same thing I thought.. Look for Maelstrom on the internet, all round and scary.. this one doesn't look like a maelstrom at all.

But I want to use the original stuff from the game I bought, and payed 60 euro's for :).
