Epoch 8?

There was a suggestion on the other AH Forum of an 8th Epoch - any news or developments on this?

Hi, to go to a Level 8, might as well play revise Axis and Allies. This game is harder than basic Risk, but, easier than Civilization.

I had broken up my set for some parts & sold the basic game. Some of the units I use for other sets (the 1/72 scale like pieces of Romans & Eastern Roman Empire and Mongols-which can pass for Huns- for my Conquest of the Empire game).

Well, back on the Delphi Forum, someone had mentioned beginning to create an eighth epic starting around 1900. It involved the rise of global US influence, a Soviet Union, Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, etc. Sounded interesting, but I dont know whatever became of the idea.
