So I'm playing A&AE solo (as usual), and Germany just captured Moscow. Russia is down to just one Infantry unit in Karelia, so he's pretty much out of the game. Germany just needs to hold Moscow, and his capital, for one turn to win. So here's what happened on the Allies turns: Russia attacked Germany with the three Infantry he still had in Poland; they did nothing, not a single hit. Then the U.K. attacked Berlin with two Tanks and two Bombers. That entire force was destroyed, but it also got the defending German force down to three Infantry and one Fighter. Then, the U.S. launched an attack with two Tanks, two Bombers, and one Fighter. And won. Germany now must try to retake his capital with the only force he has near enough, six Infantry in Belgium (fortunately for him, all America has for defense is a Tank and two Bombers). Germany still owns Moscow, and is not going to lose it (he has a total of around eight Tanks in Russia). Is that weird, or what?

Is it fun playing solo?

I've never tried it but was thinking about it.

Well, it's not bad. I don't have a lot of choice, since I don't really know anyone nearby who plays wargames, and none of my siblings play. It's ok if you can't find someone else, and it's a fairly good way to really fool-proof strategies.

Don't mind at all; New Hampshire.

Oh, and for those of you who are interested, Germany managed to take back his capital and win the game the very next turn.
