I'm looking for players who would be interested in FtF games of AAR in the London, Kitchener-Waterloo, or Windsor areas. Playing by email i'm sure is fun but and i'm trying to get Triple A working but nothing beats FtF games.

Hmmm... If you've really got the *itch*, and reliable transportation, you could head over the border into the States and join us in gaming one Saturday a month in Plymouth, Michigan (about 45-50 minutes West from Detroit).
I'm sure the group would love to have you and the Canadians down for some FTF.
For more details check out the Southwest Michigan/Northwest Ohio Gathering thread.

BTW We are playing this Sat. 11 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Hope you all come down!

I run the A&A Gathering that Eastern Front is talking about and would love to see you there for some gaming action.

More importantly, I actually live just across the border in Michigan around the Port Huron/Sarnia area. Let me know if you want to set up something.

Thanks Yoper and EasternFront it sounds like a great time and i'm definately interested in particpaction.

This is really bad though if there are no players in South Western Ontario that are willing to play. C'mon i know there are lots of guys who post on this forum from Toronto, is there no one out there?

Well I'm originally from TO but am on the East Coast now, will be back though starting next fall.

Don't know how much the wife would let me out to play, but I'll certainly be interested!

I'm studying to be a teacher, hopefully i'll be able to convince my students the benefits of Axis & Allies. ;)

In fact anyone who wants to play i'll bring the beers but just to warn you Americans, this stuff is real beer not that watered down stuff you guys are used to! ;)

Personally, I like dark beers, like Guinness, and German beers. I have to agree about most American beers sucking. ( You got to love the whole John Candy bit about "All I said was that Canadian beer sucks." from Canadian Bacon.)There are exceptions, like Samuel Adams or Michelob Amber Bock, but for the most part they are just **** water.

You should defenitely come to "The Gathering" in Plymouth that Yope is running. We have had 7 or more each month. Next month (OCT 16) we will start a round Robin tournament and when all is done (?months? later?) the winner will get a game of their choice for free!!!! (A&A cost equivalent)
