Getting to grips with the game now but I just wanted to check something.
When you invade your opponent does each roll of the dice count as "declaring an invasion"? If I'm attacking a territory with 3 MODs in and I've got 5, it will take two rounds of dice rolling (min) to win. If after the first attack my opponenet remembers he has a reinforcements card, can he play it?

This is a difference between LOTR and 2210. Timing the cards for when you need to play them is vital. If you had to plop all your stealth mods down as soon as you are attacked... not only will the attacker likely change thier mind about the attack, they may be able to just GO AROUND your new horde of mods. And then if you don't play them right away (and aren't allowed to play later) thinking you can survive... a few unlucky rolls can deem them necessary for survival!

In LOTR Risk, their needs to be a distinguishment due to several cards that are intended to affect the game on the larger scale than a single die roll... likethe black corsairs card I believe.

Motrax is right, in Risk 2210 each roll is a separate invasion. The attacker chooses to invade, then can stop after one roll because the invasion has ended. If he chooses to go on then another invasion has begun. So the command card may be played at the defenders discretion.

To further reinforce the fact that each roll of the dice counts as a new invasion, this is a clip from the Risk 2210 FAQ

Risk 2210 FAQ (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/faqs/risk2210)

Can more than one Stealth MOD card be played during an invasion?
Yes. You can play as many Stealth MOD cards as you hold and that apply. Also remember that every time the attacking player rolls the dice, he's making a new invasion, and more cards can be played.

Amen Albi. This could have all been clarified if the proper card name had been used. :) Sorry Stugi. :)

Reinforcements: Land card, 0 cost, played BEFORE an invasion is declared by the person who's turn it is, place 1 MOD in three different territories.

STEALTH MODS: (The card in question) Land card, 0 cost, played when an invasion is declared into a Land territory. (Always remember the evil fact that STEALTH MODS can be played during ANYONE'S turn, and that you may play STEALTH MODS on an enemy or ally as you see fit should the outcome of the battle directly affect you in some way, shape, or form.

Heh heh. :D
