Anyone got any opinion on Patton's Best?
Solitaire game from '87
Heard it is very much like B17:queen of the skies, supposedly better though. Sorry never own it so I can't give first hand account.

Well I have B17 QoS and I'm watching a couple Patton's Best on ebay. Seems like there's always 2!

PB has more meat than B-17. There's actual movement involved, for example, so you're more than just a target. Spotting plays a huge role -- everything hits like an '88 until you identify the actual weapon being turned against you, so it's very important to preserve your visibility. No cruising all over France all buttoned up in this game. If you like the "here's my vehicle and here's my crew, let's see how long we survive" aspect of B-17 and want something with more involved rules and more choices, then Patton's Best is pretty good. There's nothing else like it out there that I'm aware of (other than some computer games).
