One of the most fun games I've played by AH was Naval War. Unlike most out of print games I cannot find a copy on eBay, probably because the quality of the original cards was such that they would become unplayable through normal wear and tear after a couple hundred playings.

I think that Naval War would be an excellent candidate for reprinting, and this time you could make it good quality cards! I'd pay as much as $35 for a good copy that wouldn't wear out like my old one did.

I paid that much for a copy on ebay. My wife and I were introduced to the game by some of her friends. A great little game that just because it has a war theme is not a war game. The friends of ours had laminated there cards so that they would not wear out. I could see a reprint that had larger cards that would stand up better to use. I think that there are a couple of similar games out by small companies that come on playing-card sized cards. I think that it would be a no-brainer, but WotC/Hasbro/AH hasn't shown much in the area of intellect.

I don't know how I would have survived my overseas deployments without my well-worn copy of Naval War.
The deck of a ship's berthing space takes a serious toll on cards.
