Greetings! DocZ here. Made you scan!
Looking through these pages whilst keeping an eye on my young nephew DocD and his latent heretic tendencies, I couldn’t help noticing a distinct lack of culture amongst you young feller-me-lad Axis and Allies fans. Too much time gallivanting about in the forbidden zone inventing house rules, and not enough time studying the sacred texts of Larry The Lawgiver, I’ll warrant.
So, I though it would be a good idea to create a place for you young tearaways to post your Axis and Allies poetry. I’ll start the ball rolling with some of the latest prose of my own.
It’s called The Tank and The Infantry.

The Tank and the Infantry went to sea
In a flavorful lime-green boat:
They took some pickles,
And plenty of nickels,
Wrapped up in an IPC note.

The inf looked up at the tank he loved,
And sang to a small guitar,
“Oh tanky, old chap, you big hunk of scrap,
What a horrible color you are,
You are,
You are!
What a horrible color you are!”

Tanky said to the inf, “You miserable gimp,
This sailing lark isn’t much fun;
Oh! Let us to battle;
Too long we have prattled:
But what shall we do for a gun?”

They sailed into the west, on a magical quest,
To the lands where the booger-men live;
And there on a mat a booger-man sat,
With a gun, but not willing to give,
To give,
To give,
With a gun, but not willing to give.

“Dear Boog, will it please, to lend for a lease,
Your gun?” Said the Booger-man, “Yep.”
So they sailed away, and unloaded next day,
On the coast near the port of Dieppe.
They charged up the beach, for some cover to reach,
Which they did with support from a plane

And gun in hand on the edge of the sand,
They lost their alliance the game,
The game,
The game,
They lost their alliance the game.
