Dice: To be Mean or Nice?

Ok, here's a scenario:

We only have 1 die. So we use that to roll. I have 4 infantry and a fighter. For the infantry...

1... hit... 6... miss... 3... miss... 5... miss... 2... miss

Now for my plane- wait a minute! I rolled 5 dice, for 4 infantry! Oops...

But wait! That last 2 I rolled would have hit with the fighter! So should the 2 be applied to the fighter, or must I reroll?

Let the 2 be a hit. Move on with the game....IMO.

Rolling one die, then I would say it was a hit. I don't see how it could be anything other than a hit... You had to roll 5 dice regardless.
If the friends your playing with argued with you over that, then get new friends. If it was you arguing, then get a therapist :)

Buy some Dice or look into playing Low Luck.

I just get a handful of dice for the 4 infantry and then roll them, and then I roll one die for the plane. No confusion, and in your example, just reroll. I keep my friends regardless, although we do argue about rules 75% of our gaming time :rolleyes:

You said the story didn't happen and was only a scenario. Then you mentioned something like it happened, but not exactly. Then after all that you said that you were given the hit.
