SZ 35 --> FIC?

I haven't been able to tell if Sea Zone 35 connects to French Indochina. On my map, there is a small portion of western FIC that clearly connects into the Indian sea zone, but it's still small and I am not sure if it was the intention that these two areas connect. Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

No, these areas are NOT connected, but you are right: the map is not 100% accurate on that point.
