I don't know if there are any players of the old A&A around here.
Nevertheless, I figured this would be as good a place as any to try and find folks interested in trying out this scenario.

It's been in the works for just over 2 years, and it's pretty close to getting finalized. I'm hoping it may catch on and become a popular variant, maybe even for tournament play.

Please read through this scenario and let me know what you think.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

Some nice ideas here - any chance you could post a map with starting set up changes marked?

I've just done some alternative scenarios for AAE - will post some links very soon.

Here's the link
(you'll probably have to copy+paste it into your address bar)

This shows which side controls what territories.
As the post says, "The original setup is used, with units' ownership being converted according to ownership of the territory they're in."

So, for example, Ukraine SSR normally is a German territory with 3inf, 2arm, 1ftr (all German units)
So in this game, it is a Soviet territory and therefore has 3inf, 2arm, 1ftr (all Soviet units)

The map also shows which Sea zones are involved in each theatre.

P.S. Here's a link for if anyone needs a quick refresher of the original setup for the old version of the game (I've gone over it so many times, I almost *wish* I could forget it :p )

Here's a link to a thread I started.

It outlines some possible early-game moves for the Axis Powers in this scenario.
It's a good starting point for anyone looking to try the game out.

Here is a map I drew to illustrate your idea a little more clearly.
