When you take all of the pieces out of the box there is a red cardboard stand at the very bottom that you reinforce with 3 long pieces. What is this for because there is no mention of it anywhere?

[Like in other AH titles]:It acts as your "storage" tray for your pieces to "fit nicely" in the box...the insert goes in first...then put the 3 slotted narrow strips to go across the grooves of the insert to form "holding/storage" areas.

...I just use mini plastic tackle boxes (from Plano) to store my pieces...works just as good!- :D

For many games, the storage trays in the new AH games are really swell, e.g. when you have five or six sets of mostly identical pieces. The concept doesn't work well for "Betrayal" because there are hundreds of little cardboard counters and they tend to slip under the dividers. I think you'll be happiest using plastic baggies or the plastic cases used by fishermen and miniatures-gamers that holywolfman mentioned. I'd also recommend going to the trouble of printing out the counter-list thoughtfully provided by a member of these forums and dividing the counters by shape and color; nothing spoils a mood like having to spend 35 minutes fishing through a box for "Zombie 5."

Hope this helps.

..."This is true!"- :D

(It makes it more enjoyable to know what monsters are where...divided up by color type and shapes, etc and even using the "Monster identitiy chart" (by another member...Sorry- I don't know who made it at this time!)...works VERY NICELY!

i like your gerbil in the ball... that's cool. I used to have a gerbil, but it climbed into my Dad's bed one day. And we haven't seen it since. I wonder if he sat on it or something.
