Collapsed Room Tile Question

Player successfully makes the roll and doesn't fall. Do you still put the "Below Collapsed Room" token in the basement or do you wait until later when someone purposefully jumps down into the basement? If you put the token in the basement even though the explorer does not fall through, do you put the token in an existing room or do you put a new tile in the basement?

If when the explorer draws that tile and "beats" the roll...he/she DOES NOT put the "below collapsed" room tile down...it is only used when an explorer falls (purposely or not) through the upper floor tile...then you would draw a basement tile and place the token in that room.

Managing to make the speed roll of 5+ and avoid falling is no small feat, and as a reward for this, the players can later jump down the collapsed room and place their new room anywhere they want in the basement. It's sort of like a one-time mystic elevator where you roll a 0. Granted, it's painful, but sometimes when you really want to get down to a specific section of the basement, it can be helpful.

My question is this - can a player who later encounters the room choose to fall, and if so, wouldn't they take the damage in addition to placing the room.

I ask because I seem to remember (I don't have the rules with me) the rules saying something to the effect of 'the first player to encounter the room has a chance to fall through'. That indicates to me that if the first player doesn't fall, then no other player has the option to do so.

From page 6 in the rules:

"Only the explorer who first discovers the Collapsed Room needs to make the Speed roll listed there. Thereafter, any explorer entering the room can either ignore the room ability or use it intentionally, in which case that explorer still takes the damage. Falling to the basement doesn't count as moving a space.

Only the first explorer to fall to the basement from the Collapsed Room draws and places a basement tile. Put the Below Collapsed Room token on the room where the first person lands."

That seems to answer all the questions raised above. Does it need a FAQ entry, or is it clear enough as is?
