Does anyone know if this is out yet? I pre-ordered it 2 months ago, and it said "Release Date: November". Then, before Christmas, I checked, and it said "Release Date: December". This is ridiculous!

This game is out now. It was on the shelf at one of my gaming stores.
I'm waiting for someone to tell me how it is before I even think about buying it.

So are you like, scared of the game or something? Don't want nightmares? :D

Yes I'm terribly frightend of paying 50 bucks for the parts in the game that looked like cheap cardstock.
Doom Memory:
I used to play my cousin in doom II across an old 28.8 modem.
I tricked him into following me through the "barrels of fun" level. I teleported into that hallway lined with toxic barrels. I typed bye, waited for him to teleport then ignited the barrels. I still remember him having time to type AAAAAAHHHHHH as the explosion moved his way.

The card stock is very thick. Much thicker than Space Hulk and games like it. The heavy card stock is printed well, in the manner of many euro games with a satin finish.
FYI: I received the game in the mail today. I was impressed. Easy to learn, easy to play with many interesting tactical options.

Yes...this is a COOL game! Great components... This is definately Heroquest meets Space Hulk! (but much BETTER!!!)- ;)
...I think it is much more fun to play the marines...but it is also cool to wipe out the marines as well...challenging for both sides!

I want to try out the first scenario tonight (probably not campaign tonight, how long does that take for the marine to win?)

I want to post a pic later comparing a German Tank, German Infantry, Space Marine, Demon, and Cyber Demon later.

Good to know I was wrong...
I'll have to pick it up. Is it really cool combat?

It give the feel of a run and gun, move it or lose it style of play. Yet, it does have IMO a few issues in balance. But, I hear the designer is already at work making a difficultly level device to address that issue.
While I do enjoy it, I keep going back to my favorite, the 1st edition of Space Hulk with the Deathwing expansion. I enjoy the desperate small unit, hold at all cost kind of action in that game better.

It's insane. My friend, the marine, was absolutely shocked- my giant demon with machine guns for hand was chasing him down a narrow hallway, and on the other end was fire throwing zombies. His shotgun just wasn't going to cut it...

Heres a little house rule I thought up: When a Marine dies, the guns he had when he died are dropped at the location where he died.
Does that sound good? I was also thinking something like, for every wound you get, roll a die, and if it's a miss, your armor is destroyed?

Do the marines EVER lose their weapons once they are picked up?
