I recently installed some Java file so I could run a program (Starcraft Xtra Editor 2.5, to be precise). It didn't help (that Java site is so unorganized and confusing it sickens me) and, when I deleted it, all of the images that appear in my web browser don't load. I use three different browsers and images don't load on any of them. Any help? I'm not sure if it was the Java that affected it, but im pretty sure.

I found out that images work on some sites. This has happened to me before, if anyone wanted to know. I can't remember how I fixed it.

For some reason, my browser has now decided to accept images. Odd.

Well yes, this is totally off topic, and should most likely be moved to the right area, but.. I feel your pain of having things go all weird and not knowing what happened.
I wonder if it could be a memory issue? Had you been using the computer intensively for a long time? I've noticed with mine, if I've been doing a lot, and been connected for a long time it will sometimes not load images.. but if I disconnect and .. well.. more or less reset it.. restart it, everything's just dandy. (I tend to leave mine connected all the time, not rebooting unless I have to for some reason)
