In a different post, someone was asking about an expansion set for Betrayal. I imagine that is a long ways off. I haven't come close to using up all 50 haunts yet, but I was wanted to start a thread for people to post thier own Haunt ideas using the current rooms and tiles. If such a thing already exisits, let me know.

I've had some haunt ideas floating around in my head.
More specifics I haven't hammered out yet, but here's a general description:
The cube
The traitor is a scientist who has trapped the other heros in the house. The traitor goes into the research lab where he runs the maze.
Heros win/survive when they can all make it to the entrance hall. In this case the victory conditions is not win or lose, but who can survive.
The traitor wins if all heros are dead or the counter reaches zero, which when the traitor decides his subjects are too stupid to figure the maze out in time and pulls a level to gas the entire house.
The traitor:
Place twice as many "traps" as there are heros in random rooms. Whenever a hero tries to leave a room with a trap in it, it deals 2 dice physical damage. A hero can disable a trap with a knowledge roll of 5 or better. If they fail they take 1 die of damage. The traitor can re-enable a trap with a knowledge roll of 4.
Set the counter to 1. Advance it at the end of your turn. If it reaches 10, then the players lose.
When the traitor is in the research lab he can move tiles of the house, one at a time. He can only move a tile that is on the edge of a floor(hence no "inside" tiles) and may place it on the edge of any floor, lining up doorways as normal. He may not move any stairs or the entrance hall. In essence, each outside tile can act as a mystical elevator. Secret stairways and passages can be reassigned if a connecting tile is moved.
The number of tiles moved is as follows:
Counter at 1-3: 1 tile + 1die
Counter at 3-6: 1 tile + 2 die
Counter above 6 1 tile + 3 die
If a hero forces the traitor out of the research lab, he can gain control of the maze with a knowledge roll of 7

^^ I like it!
You can make additional help for the heroes.
The puzzle box: If this card is drawn the hero does not get two items if he opens it. Instead he realizes that this is a model map of the house. The player gets an additional die roll when avoiding traps and can make a speed roll in order to jump out of a room prior to it's moving.

The Cube idea is great...I loved the movie. At least the first one. I haven't seen the sequal.
My Haunt idea is called "The Party" where the heroes have to clean the house and cook for a cocktail party, while the traitor goes around messing up room and spitting in the food.
Okay, maybe it's not a very "evil" haunt, but it's something I can relate to.

Ha, I love the party idea! Maybe some light hearted haunts would be interesting as well. Reminds me of the old SNL skit with John Belushi called "The Thing that Wouldn't Leave!"
Anyway, some other ideas I have are a demonic toy collection that tries to suck teh souls the heros into the dolls (aka 7th guest, and the youngins would be the traitor) where you have to capture and toss the dolls in the furnace room to destroy them. The dolls would be easy to overpower but a free doll has a good chance of taking your soul. You have to take a doll to the chapel and exercise the soul to get the hero back.
Another idea I had is where the traitor is a mad scientist and one of the heros is an andriod, but none of the players know who it is. He'll try to gain control of the andriod to turn it into a killing machine. Still trying to figure out the details of that one.

This sounds very doable. Good Idea. I would love to see it worked out and perhaps posted on BBG or the yahoo group.
