Title says it all, thanks.
I suggest you visit:
DAAK (http://www.daak.de/indexe.php?sprache=e)
Several of the posters here play at DAAK. It is a German site, but as a total non-German speaker I have managed just fine. The support for English is always improving also.
As well as the standard games, DAAK has the benefit of offering a "low-luck" dice variant for those like myself who have become jaded over losing games purely to bad luck on far too many occasions.

an excellent idea for AvalonHill to accomplish.
They have a lot of games, and if they can offer them in some form online (a charge would be based on it use) then that would be very cool.
It is also quite a cool mehtod for getting traffic and money away from existing programs.

Try the AAMC http://www.dicey.net/nuke/index.php
Major home for 2nd Edition, over 15,000 games played
AAR now done by hand, but new programing coming on-line soon. The A&A Europe and Pacific club share this sight.
Also, Flames of Europe http://www.flames-of-europe.de/index.php
a smaller club, great and user friendly pbem; supports all varieties of A&A

i play in daak, aamc, and aaa
triplea is the least serious(as in the players are there for fun and not too upset with losing) and aaa is the most fun for myself as you can play realtime.
daak and aamc are good for tournaments as there are some high level players(at least the best players i have played)

Thanks for your recommendations AWNIL and DY.
I think even though we play for ranking points and tourneys at DAAK most players are not upset if losing. Anyway we propagate friendly and relaxed games. :)
But of course its nice to climb up the ranks. ;)

Playing 4th Edition rules, no national advantages.
Who has the advantage: Allies Axis Same?
After playing a couple of games it seems that the Allies have the advantage but was wondering what the general feeling was.
I am sure that has been talked about before, but I couldn't find the thread.
Thanks.

Allies have a slight advantage, wich can be neutralized by a bid of 6 to 18 IPC.
Nice broad range Panther :)
I've seen bids as low as $2 for the Axis.
I've also seen a bid of $14 get the Axis

I thougt 6-18 is reasonable. Of course you may win with Axis with less if the dice help you or you simply are better than your opponent, and vice versa aganst more with Allies. (I heard about 22! )
But 6-18 that is the range I would stay in. :)

I have been playing with triple a (see links earlier in this thread from Loren-blue max).
It is a good system, played 3 online games and about 4 email games. Great way to hone skills for face to face games.
Are there clubs that charge a fee??

What rules set are you playing?
Out Of The Box AH rules are pretty much broken, IMHO.
LHTR fixes alot of these issues, but then the game boils down to one best allied strategy, which results in one best axis strategy, which, bottom line, is boring (Infantry Push Mechanics).
Anyways, I would think an axis bid of 6-18 is a good range (as Panther suggested) to help the axis overcome these stackfest kinda games.
