my personal opinion is that tranys should have No attack value & No defense value.
i think that using TN for fodder should be allowed. It costs money to make them, and the player should use them as he sees fit.

Xeno handles transports that way I believe. I'd have to say leave the transports the way they are now in A&ARe as it works out just fine.
I'm with the Kaufman on this one. Transports cost money. Sinking them cost money because replacing them cost money. Never nice to see money sinking to the ocean floor.

I'm with DocD and Kauf here. Transports should have some ability to defend themselves; after all, they did have some defensive guns, even if few and weak, and were generally guarded by a patrol boat or two.

I dunno... after a Battleship takes care of a Transport, I'm not sure how much there'll be to salvage... ;) :D
