It means 2:50 pm is 8:50 pm on my watch. There is a 6 hours time difference between us.
But I'm usually not going to sleep before 0:00, so it must be possible to play sometime.

Greenwich time (GMT) is the same as Universal Time (UT). My Time Zone is Central European Time.

I was playing 2 dudes from germany this evening to a DonD and some Lola guy! I lost because I made the mistake of losing UK (should have bought 5 Inf in stead of that stupid IC). And after taking Ger with USSR I bought more ship than I could place :eek: . Mixed up A&AE rules with A&AR..... :D. Boy did I feel stupid! Must have been the 5 Wodka's.....

I had a lot of fun. But is my score minus 50 now :( ? DonD says he is on these boards some time....

I played AllWeNeedIsLove last night. He has this awesome KJF strat that crushed my Japs. I was able to build up Germany though and I had control of the Atlantic. I decided the only hope was SeaLion so I bought 6 boats for 48 IPCs and placed in the Baltic. I had 6 fighters 7 tanks 7 inf attacking 14inf 2tanks 4 fighters and aagun, and I took UK with a tank and a plane left! Well we quit playing then, but what an interesting game. No way for him to get UK back with me having a fleet of an AC BB sub and 8 trans and him having no fleet. Now Japan was down to Manchuria and Japan so prolly would be falling in a couple turns. USSR would be in trouble in three turns of Germany producing 55+ per turn.

hey butch this is a fun and interesting game. i think we will have to play this one out as the allies still have a good chance at winning even without uk(and not getting uk back for at least 5 rounds)

if we had of played low luck like we were talking about the uk would have held and allies cruised to an easy victory(uk had 55% chance of holding, and then 75% chance once aagun hit 2 fighters). but you are right we would never have had the fun(and agony) of putting our fate in the small dotted cubes.
