Hey you! How would you like to see how your Avalon Hill gaming skills rank up with the rest of the world?

By registering for PBP World Series, you will get a PBPWS "account". That means you will be added to the Roster (updaited near Daily I might add!), with 1000 IPC (International Prevailance Count). As you play, you should keep me updated with your wins/draws. I will check the validity of your Victory, then make the corresponding change.

For example, winning Axis and Allies would be worth 50 points, and losing would be negative 50 points. Many AH games are supported:

Axis and Allies (All titles besides D-Day)^: 50 IPC
A&A D-Day: 30 IPC
Battle Cry: 15 IPC
Betrayal at House on Hill: 10 IPC
Diplomacy*: 90 IPC for win, 90 IPC for loss.
Risk Games: 30 IPC

Group losses are split evenly as possible, group wins are split as evenly as possible.

Once you sign up, every game you play in the PBP room will count towards your ranking (as long as you are playing against another PBPWS member). However, signing up IS voluntary. And you can request a "Training" game even when signed up to play for fun, not score.

So what are you waiting for? Send Series a PM to join this wonderful club now!

^Triple A is a legitimate way to do Axis and Allies for PBP for the ranking system!!!

*For Diplomacy, a person will probably be required to "host" the game, meaning, all moves will be sent to him/her, and s/he will make them. If your game involves a host, the host will recieve a 20 IPC bonus for his trouble. Also, in Diplomacy, the winning player IS alloud to promise any portion of the IPC reward to an/several ally(s), partner(s), etc. This promise does NOT need to be fulfilled, but if it isn't, don't expect people to trust you any more...

*Disclaimer* Even though the moderators OK'd this, it is NOT an official ranking system. This wonderful idea was thought up of by Series, whom is not affiliated with Avalon Hill is any way. By signing up, you are agreeing to play fair against other players. Also, you agree to accept your losses and defeats. You will face penalties for cheating with proof! Also, you are never forced to play against any other single person if you choose not to. And Finally, Series is not providing the means to play these games. Some of these games may not work in the PBP forum currently.

In other words series is setting up a ranking system for the heck of it. It's not official, mearly for fun, and completely voluntary, and free.

Yeah, Enhanced falls under "All Axis and Allies Titles Besides D-Day".

AllWeNeed, I prefer Triple A real time, but it is up to you if we play.

You can add me to the list. Axis_Roll just cleaned my clock at enhanced. My second loss since last August.
