I wish to inquire on if the rules for movement still applied from the original RISK game to RISK 2210AD. Those being; 1)if you attack and take a land(moon or sea base) you may move all your units to that new conquered land(moon or sea base) except for one which must remain behind to show that you have control of the orginal land(moon or sea base) and 2)at the end of the turn that you are able to move as many units as you wish to any places on the map, SO LONG AS you leave one unit behind you in your movement through every place you move through. (i.e. moving with 8 units through 4 nations so that when you arrive at the final destination you would have 5 that can defend.) Any input on these matters would be most appreciated.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying, but here's how I interpreted it. If you are redeploying units at the end of your turn you have to leave one unit behind in every country you pass through towards your final destination. What you are saying here is incorrecet because if the nation you are passing through already has one of your own men in it then you don't have to leave another man from your redeploying army in it as you pass through. You may take all the 8 men you start with and move them all directly to their final destination.

1) You are correct - you may advance all but one unit after winning a battle. You must advance at least as many units as the number of dice you rolled.
2) You can move as many units as you wish from one territory, leaving at least one behind. They must all go to (only) one other territory - you can't send part to one area and the rest to another. You must already occupy every territory in between - you cannot move through an empty or enemy-controlled territory. HeroineBob is correct - there is no need for you to leave units in the territories that you pass through, as they will already have at least one of your units in them or you couldn't transit them in the first place.
