Man... I wish I could just throw away money like that, too ;)

I'll go with CJ.
But, I won't set that in stone until the bid is set.

If he focuses on the game, then I think he's good enough to take on a double-micro-managed AR team.

best thing about multiple players is that they can't micromanage face-2-face. The AR team will micro-manage face-2-face. So you end up really playing a basic 1 on 1 game.

Another Pagan stereotypical post about how we play...
have you ever played AxisRoll yet?
and we still haven't finished our game yet.

I will tell you the game I am playing against you is not 'typical' of my playing style. I was forced into playing in this fashion because of the dice.

Anyways, TeamAR, is, IMHO even better the a single axis_roll or AxisRoll. Discussion and reasoning are openly exchanged as the game develops. basically, we got each others back.... plus we believe!

I talked to the man. We will have a line at the stardust in Vegas. Should be up tonight. ;)

This is what I wrote---->

a basic 1on1 game is a micro-managed (perfectly COORDINATED) plan of actions. _with good players of course

team efforts are usually associated with some situations that are not scripted by coordination. Although AR is a team effort, their actions will be controlled.

Team AR will literally be able to speak Face-2-Face with each other, not just emails or phone calls. This means to me, that all their actions will be coordinated to maximize efficiency of play.

CJ needs to focus on the game because he is playing two minds that will micro-manage the game as would a SINGLE player. It would be worse for CJ if he had a teammate since their attempts to micromanage the game would not be equal to Team AR.

I believe all of these things to be TRUE.

Don't be annoyed at me pointing it out.

you can not really reason with Pagan as he will always believe whatever he wants too...

I have more experience in THIS MATTER for sure, and I can categorically state that TeamAR has a better record than a single axis_roll or AxisRoll

I don't think he's dissing either you or AR, Axis; he's saying that you two will work together extremely well, and that CJ would be at a disadvantage were he to have a partner, since they would not work together as well. Stop being so sensitive ;).

Right on hurt!! Why do people go around just assuming somebody is coming down on them??? Doesn't make a world of sense to me, but I guess that's the way the world turns.

I believe what Pagan wrote is correct, not because Pagan wrote it, but because of the hints you, axis roll have left along the threads of this board. "I don't partner with anybody, except AxisRoll" and "we have a better winning record when we play together".

I think pagan hit the nail on the head....nothing to get upset about....jeeezzz.

To me, micro-management is a bad thing.

That implies that we are so involved in the other players turn that we have to discuss every little detail. It's not that way.

This is why to me it sounded like Pagan was saying TeamAR would lose.. cause of micro-management.

Maybe there are better words to use, but he did define it in one of post...."perfectly coordinated plan of action".

Doesn't mean "bad" to me.

sorry for the harsh tones to Pagan, I took micromanage in the meddlesome sense:
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=micromanage

also, if he thought that was a good thing (miicromanage game play), why would he think CJ would beat us?

That's non-sequitar thinking....

I think he thought that you and AR would win... but I'll let him answer for himself.

newaxis

I'll definately take the under on that <12 rounds, assuming these guys don't fight to the last troop, but to the point of "no way to realistically win the game"

Hi axis_rolls,

Sorry for the delay on this one. I have some tourney games going on right now so haven't been ab;e to get this one started.

FIDA AAR tourney game vs. Panther. I think I have one DAAK's best on the run. Hopefully should be over soon.

AAMC 2004 AAR tourney game vs. Miguel. Heh,heh, heh. AAMCs top player got raped by Dicey on J1. Just a matter of pressing my advantage for the victory.

AAMC rated game vs. StormSS - typical LHTR stack war, could go on forever.

Enhanced 2.0 game vs. axis_roll

Enhanced 2.0 game vs. pagan

AAMC 2005 AAR tourney game vs. Archangelsk - have yet to start

DAAK AAR tourney game vs. DY - have yet to start

Enhanced 2.1 game vs. Axis Roll and axis_roll - have yet to start. Ouch, 6 games ongoing and this one pending would make it 7. So I'm hoping you guys don't mind if we postpone this one for a bit :)
