Now what i'm suggesting of course isn't a grudge match, but rather a friendly competition between two neighbouring countries that have existed peacefully for close to 200 years. But of course even between friends and neighbours there are differences(For instance the way we Candians always spell things with a u in them like colour). Of course everyone knows that it's always the Canadians that invent all the great games, like hockey, baseball, basketball, trivial pursuit, and of course the best darn rules variant for AAR in Enhanced. So let's just see which nation is better at Enhanced!

I didn't know you guys had internet access on the moon, I thought you guys were just struggling with an atmosphere and here you guys are with hi-speed internet access, what is the solar system coming to? ;)

Well I thought we could do it kinda like the Ryder Cup, a couple rounds of one on one individual matches a couple 2 on 2 matches and a team game. Obviously more weight would be put on the team game than the individual ones but I think it would be a great way to promote Enhanced even further and it's a great way to build community spirit. It would allow players who don't want to play an entire game to add their input to their respective sides or perhaps we will see a 21st century Benedict Arnold; DocD ever consider Canadian citizenship? ;)

We already have the great TeamAR for Team USA, are we going to have any big guns step up for Team Canada?

I'd consider it but not at the moment... I'm drowning in games right now :( There's also a lot more US players than Canadians. How about USA vs. The World??? Or I guess we'd have to say vs. The Universe, so our resident Man on the Moon could be involved ;)

Are u calling me out? Because normally I don't respond to french or canadian threats instead I let series do my "light work". Also I'm not frightend by the great white north. I spent some time in alaska when I was younger mushing dogs with champion dog mushers.

Is this a 2x2 tournament, or an individuals tournament?

Would be nice to have either 8 or 16 players, sort of a mini-tournament before the big AAMC one. 8 Americans vs. 8 World Players.

It'll be just like Basketball... the Americans will think they have their so-called Dream Team :rolleyes:, but in the end, they'll talk the talk, but won't be able to walk the walk... they'll CHOKE!!! :eek: Just like their B-Ball team did at the Olympics... and the World Championships before that!!!

That's incorrect. The old saying was that 80% of all Canadians live within two hours (it's assumed the method of travel is automobile) of the Canadian/US border. Now unless you're figuring Canadians can only travel 15 miles per hour on their horse and buggies you're off. More like 200 km.

First of all, in hindsight, we should never have gone to Vietnam. Hindsight is 20/20.

However, growing up in an age when schoolmates were being drafted (I missed by 2 years), it's difficult to feel sympathy for those who ran while others served their country.

It's probably difficult for those who weren't raised during that period to understand what it was like. At that time, we were trying to make the world safe for democracy. The Soviets had been expanding their sphere of influence. During the '50's, the US had seen the expansion of the Soviets into their satellite states of Eastern Europe and we had fought them in Korea. We'd seen the creation of the 'Iron Curtain'. When we started in Vietnam, it was felt that we were doing a good thing, freeing an oppressed people.

Note:
Vietnam didn't have the oil reserves of Iraq, comparisons between Iraq and Vietnam don't apply, except that the situation has been mishandled by top level idiots.
