Bad Luck

I started a Enhanced 2.1 game with AWNIL and he got the Axis + 5 and distributed 3 to Germany and 2 to Japan.

Well I was hoping to try a certain strategy for the Allies but here's what happened that kind of threw a monkey wrench into my plans:

1. I attacked W. Russia with 8 I, 1 A, 1 T and attacked Ukraine with 3 I, 1 A, 3 T, 2 F. My goald was to heavily strafe Ukraine and take W.Russia with force. Well it cost me all my infantry taking W. Russia leaving me only 1 A, 1 T. The strafe on Ukraine cost me 3 units as i hit him for 3.
2. SBR of Germany on UK1. Bmr got shot down.
3. I attempted to retake Anglo Egypt with 3 I and 1 F vs. 1 T. The tank killed every Infantry before he was destroyed.
4. 1 DD vs. 1 Japanese Transport. The DD missed and the Transport hit.

I thought the Russian turn was bad but my UK turn could only have been worse if i didn't manage to kill the Tank in Anglo Egypt! :(

I think i'm one good Japanese turn away from conceding. Russia is in shambles, India has been abandoned, and Germany is looking like a monster. :eek:

laugh it up series, the russian fault was my own for skimping on it and only sending in 1 tank, but honestly I didn't think I could see a worse UK turn, I ended up putting the IC in Australia but it really doesn't matter, save a disastrous turn for Japan, and by disastrous I mean it would have to be worse then my UK turn and it's possible but i'm thinking it's in the 0.01% category.
