Would some people be interested in playing a game of history of the world? I was thinking maybe a round an evening over an IM service like AIM, or MSN and posting the score after each round on play-by-post.

Let me know,

Is it me? nobody wants to play me? or is it the game choice?

Probably the game... not very popular in the first place, I think, and it'd be tricky to play via IM or e-mail anyway. And you have to rely on your opponent being honest with the die rolls... ;)

I feel your pain, though; nobody wants to play me a game of Original :(. Maybe they know I'd win... :D

I haven't done any online A&A, my fear is making some bonehead computer/mapview mistake and it costing me the game.

I find playing by email easier than ftf. You're more likely to miss things on the board when you're under time constraints. Playing by email allows you the luxury to think then act, rather than skipping the entire thinking phase of the process.

I highly recommend e-mail play. Try doing it through Flames of Europe ( http://www.flames-of-europe.de/index.php ); it's a got a good tutorial, comes with a mapping software (which I can't use, of course  ) and is easy to use. I'll play you a game of Original through it; just PM me :D.
