Hello, I was wondering if there were any die hards out there who might have all 6 starter boxes or at least be able to tell me which pieces come in which boxes. I have picked up a used copy on ebay and the sticker sheet with the box/set number is gone. I would like to find out what set I have so if I pick up another copy or 2, I can avoid duplication.

Thanks,

Trevor

Sorry about the 2nd post. I forgot to mention that I am also looking for an updated list of all the pieces for the game. This would include the booster packs, expansion sets, and the promos that are available. If anyone could point me to a website or something where this is available that would be great.

Thanks again,

Trevor

Hi trevor. If you can find Twilicht Cards on the internet (nad go to their Stratego Legends section) they have a link called "Stratego Set List". This will give you a list of each set (a set being one quarter of each box).

You can find a complete list of all the pieces and their powers at Thunderpoint. They also have some home cooked unofficial expansion pieces. These are marked as the "Online Only Expasion Packs". here is a link:

http://www.strategolegends.com/armies.html

Good luck.

To Modereator John:

I have purposely not posted a URL to Twilight Cards, as it is a commercial link. I do think the site should be added to your list of online retailers in the links section. Not only do they carry all the current AH titles (except I think Cosmic Encounter), but they are also the only business I have ever known to deal in Stratego Legends singles. I think they deserve your advertising. Thunderpoint seems to be the only Stratego Legends fan site going, and perhaps they should have a link as well.

If you do feel like updating the links, I know a couple other online stores with a zillion old AH titles, and one which has a good stock of General Magazines.

Cheers

Thank you very much. That webstie has been VERY helpfull to me. Which brings up my next question to all you SLI players out there.

I am curious about the unofficial expansion pieces they talk about. I was thinking about printing out a color copy and pasting them to some castle pieces to use in my army.
Has any one else tried this? Also, has anyone tried to copy the pictures over onto a sticker of some sort to use? I know there's got to be people out there who have tried this. I am gun-ho to try some of these out.
Anyone with suggestions?

Thanks,

Trevor

I will check out this site. Always feel free to suggest links or anything else. John and I read the boards regularly and suggestions are welcome.

BTW -- I thought Thunderpoint already HAD a link (they're in my Favorites menu), but I see that there are no SL links at all on the link page. I'll get that fixed, too.

I agree about Thunderpoint being a great place to get info on all the different sets. I think ebay is generally a pretty good place to find specific sets you need too, although (as you mentioned above) you take the risk that it might be missing some of the original contents. Of course with ebay you have to check back regularly to see if someone has listed what you're looking for.

Also, if anyone needs them, I still have a few extra starter boxes that I never had to open. They are factory sealed, so I don't know which sets are included. Contact me if you're interested in them, my e-mail is jasondurbin@yahoo.com. Thanks!

That stratego legends site zooooma linked looks cool, but I have some questions.

The number of the pieces goes from 1-204 nicely, in blocks of 34. Then four of the armies have one in the 205-208 range. (2 good, 2 evil). What are those? Sholudn't there be a green 209 and a red 210?

Then there are two armies with 12-blocks, starting at 211 (which seems to support the two missing above. Then two armies (again one good and one evil) have another block of twelve, starting from 500 (and then from 536, seeming to make room for the 512 and 524 series). So what's with all that?

I still haven't bought the game. I'm a little wary because I have a really low budget, and I think I wouldn't be able to get a whole set (and that would really be with the required multiples if I want to be perfectionist). What's the expected prize of a full set (or parts of it, like the 1-204 range) just by buying randomly? (not that I know a store that has this yet, but still...)

For now, I'm most intrigued by the "serial numbers" question. A little bit of info about terrain boards would be nice too.
