Alright, just opening this up to keep an overview of the game running. Neither of us is using the Mapping software of the site (me, because I can't, and Octavian because it's complicated), so we can't give you a picture of the game (unless I take a picture of my board, and post it, which is possible). I'll post again with a quick rundown of the board after GER1.

Germany took Karelia on his turn, losing all his attacking Infantry, but holding with 7 Tanks. Bit of bad luck in the North Sea prevented him from destroying all Britain's fleet, leaving me with a Battleship there. We'll see what happens on the UK's turn...

What, Series? Are you saying Octavian and Nerdx are the same person...? Surely not... ;)

UK 1 just went through. Took Finland with an expeditionary force, and eliminated the Mediterranean fleet. If Octavian wants to post the map link here, that's cool.

US 1 just went through. No attacks, just reinforcing Finland with another 2 INF, and supporting the North Sea with 2 FTR. The dreaded Shuck-Shuck strategy is on its way... ;) :D

Octavian, would it be possible to post a link of some sort to the map? If you put the maps on FoE, then you can just post a link to there...

'K, just finished RUS 2. Took Manchuria, reinforced Russia and Sinkiang. Octavian e-mailed me the map of the world just before RUS 2, so if I can figure out how I'll post that on FoE.

Sent out UK2 this morning. Took Western Europe (after I messed up the rolls for the first round, and had to reroll), and East Indies. Octavian's the guy with the mapping ability, so I'll leave it to him to give y'all a picture :).

I can stomach re-rolling for a tournament, but what is the harm in rolling a BB, seeing if it hits, and then subtracting an inf hit if it does? Some people think that is complicated, but I submit that in a face to face game that is exactly what people will do. I doubt anyone would say, oh, let's re-roll the entire battle ftf. Nonsense. The sooner players start being reasonable about omissions in friendly (read: non-tournament) games, the better. I'm sorry you got hosed in the re-roll.

Map looks fine, except for one problem; America should have 3 TRNs off its east coast, not 2. Otherwise, I think it's fine. Will get UK2 in as soon as I can.

You said that you had 1 inf in East Canada and according to my map that is not correct. Did you mean for this to be 1 arm in Western Europe (which you did not post but im assuming its still there) or did I mess up?

Yeah, I didn't mention the Tank in WE, sorry, that's still there... my map says I still have an Infantry in E-CAN; I moved it there several turns ago, and don't think I moved it out at any point... I have to go, but check the logs for England, and see if it says I ever moved that guy.

Just checked the logs, there's definitely still an Infantry in E-CAN. UK2 logs him as being there, and I didn't move him this turn, so... Japan's turn ;) :D.

But the UK does not start out with an inf in East Canada and the only 2 infantry in Canada were picked up a couple turns ago. Also plan for Japans turn Wensday night/ early thursday moring since that is when I will have the most time due to spring break. Finally Spring BreaK!!

The UK starts out with a Tank in E-CAN, and an Infantry in W-CAN; I moved the Infantry to E-CAN on UK1, took the Tank to WE on UK2, and the Infantry is still there.

Octavian, I think there's a problem with the orders, and consequentially the map; you said you build 3 Tanks in Manchuria, but your factory is in Kwangtung. In your combat orders, when you said your units attacked from Manchuria, I assumed you meant Kwangtung, and it worked either way, but I'm pretty sure those builds are wrong...

Hold on there, matey; D-Day may have been successful, but it won't likely hold for long. Whereas Russia may be smoked, but has a good chance of getting back in the game shortly. So I agree, this will be interesting to watch :D.

Also, sorry 'bout the lateness of my moves, but I've been insanely busy with the play (it's reached the point where I am down at the theater every single day, for most of the day), and haven't been had time for the computer at all. I think I'll have to put it off till after the performances, which end next week.

Yeah, I don't have enough time in my life currently to really devote any to the game. I'm willing to agree Octavian had an advantage, and I wish I could have seen how it'd turn out, but, oh well; he played very well :D.
