Invoke the name of Mothra on my opponent, and he was sumariily rejected with 8 straight 6's !!! (fist clenched strongly in the air)

I suppose Mothra's eyes are reminiscint of the pattern of a six on a d6.

"...never laugh in the face of Mothra!..."

Stupidest thing I did, was buy Iron Blitz.

Do not think anyone could have made a worse decision/move.

One of the stupidest things one can do is to rely too much on your allies I guess (in general).

For the USSR I guess not attacking in the first round is a major mistake. Just as only buying infantry is.

For Germany attacking caucasus in first round (in MB game) was always disaster afterwards.

Sometimes I placed IC on Egypt with UK. (EDITED) in fact.

I once forgot to sink lone Japanese transport hiding in SE Pacific for two consecutive turns. Japanese player loaded his infantry in Solomons and slowly sailed into San Francisco Bay and occupied Western US.

I resigned in shame.

Four of my friends and I were playing an all-day game of A&A:R well into the night, getting drunker and drunker as the hours passed. My Japanese army had pushed through India and my fleet of two battleships and two fully-loaded carriers slipped through the Suez to join my German ally’s two battleships in a massive joint navy. The US and UK had launched a huge combined navy as well, and it looked like an epic, well-balanced naval battle would occur at some point. The German player decided to move his half of the Axis fleet to the SZ just east of the Mediterranean. The Japanese fleet was supposed to meet him there, but for some reason (maybe it was all the whiskey shots), I forgot to merge our two fleets! Both the German and Japanese fleets were massacred within two rounds. What was looking like a sure Axis victory lead to defeat once the Allies landed in Rome. Oops.

The stupidest thing I did, was forgetting to place my units once after the non-combat turn.

The stupidest thing I ever did was allow America to invade Canada in A&AE while I was playing Russia. The Germans had blockaded the Americans in with subs and instead of buying planes to go help out in Europe America decided to buy tanks and invade the great white north. The lesson? Allies are for suckers.

Oh, another silly thing I did once. I was dumb enough to trust my USA ally that he knew how how to play (He told me he was an expert). I bought a UK carreir round one expecting him to land two usa fighters on it and get our transports going.

To my horror he decides to just play as though usa can win everything alone and did not even bother helping out russia or uk in the least. Lets just say, Germany laughed all the way to moscow as she crushed my fleet like it was paper.

Lesson learned, don't play with someone you don't know, even if they claim to be the greatest A&A player in the world.

Okay picture this.

Pearl Harbor has just happened. Again. Australia is under the grip of a single Japanese soldier. Fighting in D.C. ended in a completely empty Eastern U.S. American submarines have just taken out the entire Japanese Fleet. The Germans have just taken India. *** forces have entered Siberia. And thats just the Pacific! Moscow has been taken by the Germans, only to have it retaken by a few measly infantry. The British have almost invaded Europe on the first turn with about four guys. Then just to make the war more pointless Britain is invaded. It survives w/ about ten units. Then it gets invaded again. It has about four units left. Then it is invaded again for the third time and it still survives with only one tank. Finally, Uncle Joe, FDR, Churchill, Hirohito, and Hitler all meet up at an undisclosed location at Hitler's house, and over dinner, they decide that the war never happened.

And thus World War II.....never.....happened. ;)

Your last quote bracket wasn't closed. Try editing it, and closing the bracket, and it should work :D.

In A&AE I once bought a Battleship as Russia, just to see what would happen. I'm sure you can guess what happened :D.
