Anyone ever win as the Good Guys in this game?

I was never able to get Anakin through the space battle to destroy the Droid Control Ship. Bad Guys won 4 out of 4 games that I played.

I'd love to see more Star Wars titles, preferably during the original trilogy times.

The new trilogy is a big pile of Hutt dung!

I remember playing this game once with a couple of friends, and the one who is a weaker player challenged my friend and I. We flipped for sides, and my friend and I ended up winning with the Good Guys, but we only played once, and I can't remember many details, just the trash-talking...

So, I guess it has happened, but I don't think the competition was exactly balanced. And you're right, the new trilogy is rotten. I'm pumped about the DVDs in September though (even if they are the newer version of the old movies).

We played "tons" of games! It actually balanced (for us anyways) quite nicely! We had the 'Good Guys' win a lot....and also the 'Dark Sith' would win too! :D

The trick for the 'Force'/ Good Guys is to kill Darth Maul really early and to use 'Window ledge' cards and get the crew to the top of the palace room as quickly without being pinned down too quickly in a gun fight (and having the battle drones block the windows, etc.)

While ALL this is going on....you must NOT neglect Anakin and keep rolling for him to intervene as well!

As for the 'Dark Sith', the best approach is to concentrate on Darth Maul and keep destroying both Jedis! This way he can come out and start taking out the other crew in the palace quite easily! I also think it's important to play as many 'Starfighter' interceptor cards as quickly as possible to 'slow' down Anakin's approach to the Drone Mother Ship!

I think this is a real good 'Star Wars' game...It has a lot of CHOICES to make and a lot of action while doing so! For us, once we found out GOOD solid strategies for both sides, it was just matter of die rolling and executing those steps for the right moments!
Either way- the game can be enjoyed by either side! (Not to mention MANY COOL plastic pieces to look at and move around the 2 main board and Palace areas!) tongue.gif

I'm a bit late with but I found the game can go either way pretty fairly.
The game is a real kick to play too, it's been one of the most fun games we play here.
