WHat with the rules on the avalonhill site?

My browser crashes every time I want to download those A&A Europe rules claimed to be excellent here! Can someone help me out?

Actually your browser isn't really crashing.
The game manual file for AAEurope is around 8 meg in size. Which is pretty big.
First thing is to make sure you have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer. The rules are a pdf file which requires this to run. You can get the reader for free from Adobe.com.
Also, rather then clicking on the link, you may just want to right click the link and select the "save target as" option and save it to your drive. That way you will have a local copy and can scroll around it much quicker.
