I woluld like to play in team! But I must say so there would not be any suprises later; I have never played a teamgame on net and I have never played by this ENCH. rules! So If you all want me to play, you will have to answer some of my questions! SO what do you say allweneed.

hey sherman. lowluck as a way to reduce the luck of the dice. dice are still used to keep randomness, but is minimized. go to the following website for a great explanation on lowluck. it is from the daak site, which is a great place to game. all they need to do is add enhanced to make it the ultimate gaming place

I havent read what this lowluck is, but if it counts out luck I dont think I will play! When I play with my crue, they always have more luck then me and I dont say to them to throw the dices again or take away a caple of hits! I think if you would take luck out of this game, you would take fun out of the game! It is like a refery in any sport - you know that he will make wrong decision eventually!

We can try this lowluck but I think that you will take fun out of the game! Because you could calculate your hits before going in battle! One question: Lets say 4 inf are attacking 3 inf, what does this mean for the attacker, does he throw just one die and hits with 4 or less, or something else? And defender gets 1 hit no matter what, or?

I want to play with you and axisroll, even if we play by lowluck, just tell me when we start how do we play it in pairs!

yes AxisRoll i am ready and eager. i prefer to play without a partner. i would be happy to take on team ar. if axis_roll does not want to play then we can play 1-1. i am happy to play either way.

the only lowluck dice roller i know is at daak. so we will use that unless you know of another that you prefer. if you want to use daaks bid we can, but i prefer an open bid where we go back and forth, this makes for the lowest possible bid that both sides are happy with.

just started 2 games of aare 3.0 lowluck

game 1. anton axis 0 bid

I've always said AARE Lowluck would be the ultimate strategic variant

In general, there is a lot less depending on luck, and a lot more depending on strategy in Enhanced, compared to AH/LHTR, but adding Low Luck would reduce this a bit more. I'd definitely be curious to see the results though :)

for those that think lowluck takes all the variance out of the game my 2 games have an example of how varied a battle can be.

in both games r1c russia attacked ukriane with 3inf 1art 2tank 2fig. the result was at both end extremes that lowluck allowed.

game 1. there was a 11% chance of ukraine clearing with both russian fighters intact(worst possible outcome for russia).

game 2. there was a 16.6% chance that russia would capture ukraine with 1art 2tank and 2fighters intact.(worst possible outcome for germany)

this shows there is variance just not a rediculous amount when using regular dice metheod.

When plaing by this lowluck I dont know how to throw the dices! I have picked Luftwafe as my 1. NA . So how do I throw ftrs who hit at 4 in 1.st cycle of combat? Do I just change them with bombers or what?
