Feel free to pass this on to others who play Age of Renassiance.

This post is regarding the game Manifest Destiny, by the designers of Age of Renassance. It can currently be preordered through GMT Games Project 500 plan, but is in danger of being dropped if more people do not order it. This means the game may not see the light of day for quite awhile if more people don't pledge to order it!

There is some info below, but you can see the latest rules, components, session reports, etc at:

Manifest Destiny (formerly known as Progress & Destiny: The American Age) is a card-driven multi-player strategy game for 3-5 players set in North America from colonial times to the present. Designed by Bill Crenshaw as the successor to Age of Renaissance, and developed by Ken Gutermuth, Manifest Destiny combines the strategic components of earlier, longer civilization-based games with the elegance of streamlined European gaming. While reminiscent of its predecessors in some respects, it is significantly simpler and quicker to play. Designed to appeal to a wide range of gamers, Manifest Destiny combines several unique elements that require strategic balancing to succeed.

Second, we’re announcing that Manifest Destiny (formerly Progress & Destiny) and Europe Engulfed are on the endangered to be cut list. What this means is that if we don’t see a significant increase in orders on these games by Memorial Day, they will be dropped from P500. We don’t want to see either of these games dropped; we want to produce them so that we can personally play them using finished parts. We believe that you will truly enjoy the games. The designers of both these games are very accessible on Consimworld now and will continue to provide tremendous support if these games are produced. So if you’re sitting on the fence, it’s time to make the move.
