Monuments

Maybe I am just missing the rule section, but here goes: If you play a minor empire and seize a resource area with it and then later your major power seizes a different resource area, can you build a monument or must the resources be controlled by the same exact power regardless of color?

I'm pretty sure that any Resources captured by a Minor Power count towards the Resources needed for a Major Power to build a Monument. But that's just off the top of my head, as I haven't played the game in an Age ;).

No. Minors can not contribute a resource towards a major for Monument building. If the minor and the major are close to one another, go around it with the minor and let the major have when their turn comes. Use the minor for gaining prescence/dominance/control to make up for the army you use to take over the resource.
